This Primer should be used on all PVC and CPVC joints to be glued together with all solvent cements except not required where pipe/fitting is clean and Weld-On 747 or 795 is used.
Do not use on ABS

Primer softens PVC to ensure solvent cement can bit in to the surfaces to weld together.
